The Dead-end Clamp, also referred to as an anchoring clamp, is used to securely fix insulated aerial cables at the end of a line, at corner poles, or at junction points. Its main feature is the wedge-shaped structure that grips the conductor tightly as tension increases, ensuring both safety and stability. Dead-end clamps are lightweight yet extremely robust, commonly made from UV-resistant thermoplastic and stainless-steel parts.
This combination provides outstanding mechanical strength and resistance against environmental stress such as wind, rain, and temperature fluctuations. These clamps are widely applied in low-voltage aerial bundled cable (ABC) systems, offering fast installation without the need for special tools. By securing cables firmly, dead-end clamps prevent slippage, extend service life, and improve overall network reliability.
